XVI Century medical book restoration (the customer requested the original leather to be restored). The original leather restored, some parts replaced due to red rot and brittleness. (Red rot - a degradation process found in vegetable-tanned leather.). The book was resewn on raised cords, new headband matching the original color - white and blue - resewn. The leather clasp replaced.Original hardware cleaned and missing parts replaced (made by jeweler Roza Grabowska). The book was enclosed in decorative clam-shell box.
